Just a quick note to tell you what Noelle's up to.
During the sojourn of her housemates to Guatemala, Noelle has turned her condo into a guitar hermitage from which she emerges only under heavy coercion. She plans to enter the studio next month to record a starkly intimate but consistenly wry new album whose title is yet to be announced. With a notable exception or two this will be an album of songs in their purest form - single voice and guitar. At her last public sighting at the Read 'n' Post in Montecito, she excused herself quickly when questioned about the upcoming project, saying, "Actually, yeah, I should really get on that because I just realized doing a truly solo album means I don't have anybody to hide behind. What was I thinking?" Sources say she was still muttering to herself as she left the building.

Thank you to everyone who came out to see Noelle at SoHo Sunday night. What a great show - Bill and Noelle have never sounded better together... concerns about Noelle's ability to play with a serious hammer-induced laceration on her left index finger were addressed and overcome by auspicious use of superglue. Sometimes the web girl thinks that table saws and preoccupation don't mix. Wouldn't that be a great lyric?January 12, 2004:

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. The web girl had 20 people at her house (plus the 2 dogs and 2 cats). It was quite a day.
Noelle is doing a show at SoHo, uh, sometime soon. If you want, you can remind Noelle to give me the specifics or you can just show up at SoHo every night until you see her. Either way, good times. Good times.

I often wonder if anyone checks out this site often enough to notice when it goes months without an update. Just in case. . .

Noelle will be a featured artist on Artist First Radio Network on July 1. The show airs live over the internet at 8:00 PM Eastern time (that's 5:00 PM here in Cali). Please calculate the appropriate time and listen in. The show will be about an hour long and will feature Noelle's new album Stranger's Treehouse as well as a live interview. You can e-mail Noelle with requests for songs or discussion topics (What is an inflatable Godzilla?). Tell all your friends.
